This week we have been experimenting with various internet newsletter creation sites to see which we prefer. Eventually we will be using them to send our followers monthly newsletters, and email ads on behalf of our clients. The interesting thing about the programs is that some sites have tracking for everything you send out, so you know when someone opens the email, reads or clicks on links in the email, or asks to be taken off the mailing list. It is this last option that feels like a rejection letter for an author's manuscript. I like to ignore that particular statistic. One of the best options in the one program is that you are able to create surveys, embed them in your newsletter, and, if your inquiries are used right, able to get useful feedback from your potential customers.
Shay and I have been working on articles this week for both Social Interaction and Safety First Solutions. The effects of the internet protests were felt this week as the United States Government was put under public pressure to rethink their legislation. That is the power of free speech that we need to preserve so when we do not agree with something, our voices can actually be heard.
Also this week, Ignacio met with Paul Morgan. Together, Social Interaction and Plan to Profit will be collaborating on a series of seminars. Paul will be presenting seminars on topics relating business, while Ignacio will be covering topics relating to social media and marketing. The seminars will be held at the BICentre, starting on Saturday, the 3rd of March. Check the website link for direction and times.
Ignacio also received a visit from Karen Maziar. Karen will also be running informative seminars out of the BICentre on behalf of DAG (Disability Advocate Gerard). The company deals with various types of therapy (Physical and Occupational), social work and rehabilitation. More information on the company can be found here.
